Delete Your Daily Gym Motivation Account

You can permanently delete your Daily Gym Motivation account at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile and the personal data linked to it from our systems. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — your progress, streaks, habits and saved content cannot be restored afterwards.

Before deleting, you can download a copy of your data from Profile → Account → Export My Data inside the app.

In the Daily Gym Motivation app:

• Open the app and sign in.
• Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar.
• Scroll down to the Account section.
• Tap Delete Account.
• Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.

Once confirmed, your account and associated personal data are deleted and you are signed out immediately.

If you cannot access the app, email support@dailygymmotivation.com from the email address associated with your Daily Gym Motivation account and request account deletion.

We use the sending email address to verify ownership of the account. If we cannot match the address to an account, we may ask you for additional information before we can process the request.

When your account is deleted, the following data associated with your account is removed:

• Account and profile data — your login/authentication record, name, email address, preferences and settings.
• Daily logs and check-ins — daily logs, evening check-ins and weekly check-ins.
• Habits and non-negotiables — your custom habits, habit completions, non-negotiables and daily selections.
• Lifestyle commitments and commitments you created.
• Progress data — streaks, scores, XP, achievements and badges.
• Saved and favourite content — favourite quotes, saved affirmations and your quote history.
• User-created content — quotes you created, saved affirmations and quote generation records.
• Notification data — device push tokens, notification preferences and reminder settings.
• Subscription records held in our own database, including any admin overrides linked to your account.
• Analytics events, coaching enquiries and admin notification records linked to your user account.

Optional feedback you choose to give when deleting your account is stored anonymously and is not linked to your identity.

A limited amount of information may be retained after deletion where we are legally required or permitted to keep it:

• Transactional email records — a log of operational emails we have sent (such as your account-deletion confirmation), including the recipient address, kept for delivery, security and abuse-prevention purposes.
• Email suppression records — if your address previously bounced or unsubscribed, it stays on our suppression list so we do not email it again.
• Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot be used to identify you.

Payments and subscriptions are processed by the app stores, not by us. Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) hold their own transaction records and may retain them under their own legal, accounting and tax obligations. Those records are governed by their privacy policies, and we cannot delete them on your behalf.

We do not set arbitrary retention periods for the items above beyond what is needed for these purposes.

Deleting your Daily Gym Motivation account does not cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription, and does not automatically issue a refund. Subscriptions are managed by the store you purchased through and must be cancelled there:

• iOS / App Store: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Daily Gym Motivation → Cancel Subscription.
• Android / Google Play: Play Store → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Daily Gym Motivation → Cancel.

Please cancel your subscription before deleting your account so you are not charged again.
